Input system still has to be discussed, but here are the main actions and events that most probably will be implemented in the final release. However, don't expect key bindings to be definitive, this is only to give an idea to what happens in answer to some user actions.

General Controls
- Ship
- Forward/Back arrows: Throttle thrust on whichever engine type the player has (there will be several, including Aerodrive)
- Left/Right arrows: Triggers a banking/turning animation, which may create streams of contrails depending on speed
- Mouse: Used to direct units on the battlefield in a sort of RTS-style combat

- P: Show ship information
- I: Show mission information
- M: Show map
- H: Home-- Selects main ship
- R: Select nearest threat
- Tab & Shift-Tab: Select object in visual range
- ESC: Menu/pause toggle
- Command-Q/Control-Q: Quit
Combat Controls
- Left-click: Select individual units
- Left-drag, Shift-Left-click: Select many units
- A: Select all units
- Shift-A: Select only player's units
- Control-Left-click, Control-A: Select only enemy units
- Right-click: Toggles attack, primary weapons
- Shift-Right-click: Toggles attack, secondary weapons
- Control-Right-click: Toggles attack, tertiary weapons
- C: Cease-fire
